In the peaceful wilderness of Siberia, all hell breaks loose when rampant corporations begin the destruction of the environment for profits. After the demonstrations of environmental activists fail, they soon resort to violence and establish a paramilitary force, hiding out within the vast taiga woodland.

What started as a peaceful group of environmental protesters, has now escalated into a fully-armed guerilla force known as the Taiga Defence Army. Led by a secretive activist and trained by a former lieutenant of the Russian Army, this small, but expanding, group of  inexperienced volunteers who have virtually no survival skills or combat training outside of video games, must now take up arms and halt the advancing corporate juggernaut that threaten the taiga.

As the war in the taiga develops, the corporations begin resorting to more drastic measures, whilst the TDA become more organised and continue to stifle the corporations' efforts by using guerrilla tactics, ambushing convoys, sabotage and even destroying equipment and machinery. They soon discover that they are not alone in the wilderness, as another faction emerges in the fight against the corporations and another is brought into the fray.
